The successful candidate will be assisting in harvesting, data collection and analysis of plant and animal samples, as well as some handling of data. This work may also include preparing samples for analysis and processing samples.
The forage and livestock research team runs several research projects designed to improve long term pasture productivity, and increase return, for livestock producers. A large portion of the spring and summer work takes place outdoors.

Education:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s or PhD program from a recognized post-secondary academic institution in a Science program.
Assets qualification:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s or PhD program from a recognized post-secondary academic institution. Programs in Agriculture or Plant or Animal Sciences would be an asset.

As per the new Policy on COVID-19 Vaccination for the Core Public Administration Including the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, federal public servants in the Core Public Administration and members of the RCMP must attest to their vaccination status.
