VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: Candidates must clearly demonstrate in the experience questionnaire how they meet the education and experience factors listed as essential and asset qualifications on the Statement of Merit Criteria. A qualified candidate may be offered the position even though he/she does not meet any or all of the asset qualifications. However, asset criteria are desirable and may be invoked at any point of the staffing process by the hiring manager, including for being a deciding factor in choosing the right fit candidate.
Immediate need: One (1) position to be staffed on a determinate basis with an English Essential linguistic profile. This process may be used to create a pool of qualified candidates as well as to fill identical or similar positions at the Department of Global Affairs Canada with different tenure or linguistic profiles.

Education:
A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or
experience.
Experience:
Significant* experience in warehousing or a distribution type environment.
Significant* experience in logistics** (See explanatory note).
Significant* experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Experience using an automated inventory control system.
* “Significant” experience is defined as experience gained over a period of more than 12 months.
** Explanatory note – “Logistics” is defined as:
Receipt of goods, packing of goods, distribution of goods, warehousing service as well as the management of inventories and the disposal of goods.
