As per OSFI’s Policy on COVID-19 Vaccination, employees must attest to their vaccination status. The requirement for employees to be fully vaccinated applies whether they are teleworking, working remotely or working on-site. The Manager, Information Management, is responsible for the efficient, effective delivery of information management services to the organization. This includes operational support, training and awareness activities in relation to the Enterprise Information Management program. This position also supports the Director, Enterprise Information Management (EIM) in the development and maintenance of business focused IM strategic plans and implementation roadmaps, as well as in the annual business planning process, the development of supporting divisional goals and objectives, and enabling performance frameworks. Furthermore, this role also assists in the conceptualization and execution of EIM related operational/tactical projects required to achieve approved EIM strategic plans and objectives.
The Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) is an independent agency of the Government of Canada, established in 1987 to contribute to the safety and soundness of the Canadian financial system. ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
-Graduation with a degree from a recognized university in information technology, information management or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
-Experience in management of electronic/digital information, including transformation of business processes and information technology
-Experience in the management, planning, implementation and delivery of an electronic document and records management service or program
-Experience in leading the delivery of a software solution, in an agile environment, through the development lifecycle
-Experience in development of policies, procedures and training programs related to a system of record in support of an information management program
-Experience in assessing, planning and implementing business process improvement initiatives
-Experience in coaching, mentoring or developing staff
-Experience in project management or coordination
-Experience in providing monthly status/operational reports intended for senior management consumption

OSFI's Ottawa location is downtown with easy access to shopping, restaurants, gyms, financial institutions and more. The building is less than a five minute walk from LRT and STO stops.
As a Separate Agency, the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) appoints employees in accordance with the Public Service Employment Act (PSEA). OSFI is named in Schedule V of the Financial Administration Act (FAA) and it offers the same pension and benefits plans as the core Federal Public Service. In addition to this, OSFI employees obtain a minimum of 4 weeks of vacation leave per year, earn a competitive salary, and are eligible for an annual performance bonus.
Preference will be given to veterans first and then to Canadian citizens and permanent residents, with the exception of a job located in Nunavut, where Nunavut Inuit will be appointed first.
