Duties

• Meet the requirements set by the Department for master students.
• Conduct literature review and summarize information under different formats
• Conduct field and lab research with focus on water quality
• Collect and maintain primary and secondary data
• Perform statistical analyses of data, present and discuss results.
• Write and defend MSc thesis.

Work environment

Under supervision, the incumbent will be responsible for conducting water quality research on the topic titled “Improving Water Quality by Precision Application of Manure and Promising Polutant Mitigation Options.” The incumbent will be based at the University of Saskatchewan. The incumbent will be enrolled at the University of Saskatchewan and meet their requirements for a masters candidate.

MSc Program at University of Saskatchewan, Soil Science Department

Degree equivalency

Experience* in soil or water related field or lab work

*In the context of student recruitment in the Federal Public Service, the experience can be acquired through the studies, work experience, or volunteer activities.
