Conduct a literature review of Quebec-specific beneficial management practices (BMPs) and summarize the information in various formats.
Collect and maintain primary and secondary data.
Process data after the survey (data entry, including conversion of paper responses to digital formats; data cleansing, including merging data sets, searching for significant outliers or data entry errors, removing personal identification data, etc.).
Perform statistical and econometric analyses of data; present and discuss results.
Assist in the preparation of workshop materials.
Assist in writing reports and papers.
The successful candidate will work under supervision remotely on a part-time basis during the winter months in the Quebec region and full-time during the summer.
The successful candidate may be required to travel to farms in the Lac Saint-Pierre area and to some AAFC affiliated centres, subject to pandemic regulations.

Education:
Currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Master’s or Ph.D. program at l’Université Laval with a specialization in economics, agricultural economics, applied agriculture or a closely related field, as of the date of the appointment.
Experience:
Experience* in conducting a literature review
Experience* in analyzing economic and agri-environmental data related to agricultural production
*In the context of student recruitment in the Federal Public Service, the experience can be acquired through the studies, work experience, or volunteer activities.
