In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION:
Secondary school diploma and completion of an acceptable 2 to 3 year training program in electronics technology or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
EX1: Experience with Radar or telecommunications systems.
EX2: Experience with design of electronic devices.
EX3: Experience with prototyping electronic devices.
EX4: Experience with computer aided design (CAD) software for PCB layout.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

ASSET EXPERIENCE
AEQ1: Experience with the development of electronic modifications;
AEQ2: Experience using schematic capture software to generate PCB data, and prototype assemblies;
AEQ3: Experience with telecommunications and Radio Interfacing; Analogue, VoIP, RoIP, Fibre/Cu design;
AEQ4: Experience conducting supervisory duties, including: scheduling tasks;
AEQ5: Experience working or volunteering in a mixed civilian and military environment.

Operational requirements:
Willing and able to work overtime as required.
Willing and able to travel as required.

On October 6, 2021, the Government of Canada announced details of its plans to require vaccination across the federal public service.

As per the new Policy on COVID-19 Vaccination for the Core Public Administration Including the Royal Canadian Mounted Police federal public servants in the Core Public Administration and members of the RCMP must attest to their vaccination status. The requirement for employees to be fully vaccinated applies whether they are teleworking, working remotely or working on-site. This is a condition of employment and it applies to indeterminate (permanent), determinate (term), casual, and student hiring.
