Education
Successful completion of a post secondary school program in aircraft maintenance or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
Occupational Certification
Possession of a valid Canadian Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License, Category S.
Experience
Significant and recent experience as a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, maintaining, repairing and/or modifying aircraft structures.
Definition of significant and recent experience:
- Significant experience means at least three years of relevant experience.
- Recent is defined as within the last three years.
ASSET QUALIFICATION
Certified aviation welder to AMS-STD-1595.

Knowledge
Knowledge of technics required to do composite and sheet metal structural repair.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Available and willing to travel.
- Willingness and ability to work in a flexible environment on a variable day work and/or shift work schedule, including weekends and some standby on days of rest.
Secret security clearance
- Possess a valid Canadian passport.
- Possess a valid driver’s licence.
