Intent of the process

The immediate intent is to staff two (2) position at Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) in Ottawa.

A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions at this group and level with various language requirements (English Essential or Bilingual Imperative), various security requirements, various conditions of employment as well as various tenures (acting, assignment/secondment, deployment, term and/or indeterminate) within Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada and Indigenous Services Canada.

EDUCATION:
Graduation with a degree from a recognized school of pharmacy.

Degree equivalency

OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION
Registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists as a Pharmacist.

EXPERIENCE
EXP 1 - Recent experience within the last five (5) years of at least two (2) years with:
Pharmaceutical inventory management

EXP 2 - Recent experience within the last five (5) years of at least two (2) years with:
Client education related to chronic medications

ABILITIES
Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
Ability to apply risk assessment models to a situation.

ASSET QUALIFICATION
EXP 1 - Experience supervising staff.

EXP 2 - Experience, from a retail perspective, with good knowledge of Non-Insured Health Benefits Drug plan and Provincial Drug Programs.

On October 6, 2021, the Government of Canada announced details of its plans to require vaccination across the federal public service.
