You will work for one of the strategic communications or media relations sections, which provide services to GAC’s ministers and to the department. This includes communications related to corporate and internal affairs, consular and emergencies services, and foreign affairs.

A pool of candidates resulting from this appointment process will be created and may be used to fill similar positions. A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

TRAVEL RELATED TO THE SELECTION OR APPOINTMENT PROCESS

On October 6, 2021, the Government of Canada announced details of its plans to require vaccination across the federal public service.

As per the new Policy on COVID-19 Vaccination for the Core Public Administration Including the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, federal public servants in the Core Public Administration and members of the RCMP must attest to their vaccination status.
