Intent of the process

✶The intent of this process is to staff one EC-05 position and one anticipatory EC-04.

✶A pool of qualified candidates may be established and used to fill similar positions with various language requirements, tenures and security requirements.

📌EDUCATION:
▹All streams:
▸Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics.

Notes:
Candidates must always have a degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

★An acceptable amount of experience is defined as a minimum of two years working in Real Property.

Degree equivalency

📌EXPERIENCE:
▹Stream 1 (EC-04 - Real Property Investment Officer)
▸Experience in collecting, analyzing and interpreting economic and financial information.
▸Experience in the development and interpretation of policies related to real property or project management.

▹Stream 2 (EC-05 - Senior Real Estate Investment Analyst).
▸Experience in writing briefing materials for management or senior management (Director level and above).
▸Experience in performing reviews and recommendations to stakeholders on project proposals.

▸Experience preparing official documentation for central agencies such as, but not limited to, a Treasury Board submission or a Memorandum to Cabinet
▸Experience in planning, coordinating or executing Federal Real Property Transactions*
▸Experience in research or analysis of Real Property related projects or programs.
▸Experience in the development and implementation of methodologies for economic analysis in support of investment management.

★Federal Real Property Transactions are defined as acquisitions, disposals, leases.
