As an HR Advisor in the Learning and Development team, you will:
• Design, deliver and evaluate learning and development initiatives/activities.
• Conduct research and analysis on learning needs and assessments to identify and diagnose challenges related to adult learning and development.
• Provide advice and guidance to clients on internal and external learning initiatives and activities, including Development Programs.
• Lead and facilitate the new employee onboarding program, designed to ensure new employees have the information they need to be successful in their jobs.
The Learning and Development team is responsible for developing and facilitating learning events throughout Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. We are a dynamic team that values team work, creativity and client service.
The immediate need is to fill the PE-03 position indeterminately.
A pool of partially qualified candidates may be established and used to staff similar positions.

EDUCATION
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in human resources management, labour or industrial relations, psychology, public or business administration, organizational development, education sciences, social sciences, sociology, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed.

EXPERIENCE
Experience conducting research from various sources, performing analysis and developing options, recommendations or advice for clients.
Experience facilitating learning sessions.
Experience in the design and development of online, distance and e-learning courses.
Bilingual - Imperative (CBC/CBC)
