• As this is an external advertised process, informal discussions will not take place or be provided.
Assessments may be conducted in any order and at any phase of the process:
• A variety of evaluation tools, methods and assessment timelines may be used throughout the process, including, but not limited to, standardized tests (ex: EPSI), exams, interviews, reviews of past performance and accomplishments, references, etc.:
• If you are successful in a pool, references may be contacted informally;
• Your first official language (English or French - the official language in which you are generally more proficient) will be assessed.
When providing your references, please include the following:
1) Current supervisor/manager;
2) Previous supervisor/manager;
3) Previous supervisor/manager.
• You must include their full name, title, e-mail address, and phone number.
• Note that you must have directly reported to the first two references for a minimum of 6 months.
We may also request the following information in any order, at any phase of the process:
• Security clearance Information, if applicable;
• Proof of education, including Canadian equivalency;
• Second Language Evaluation (SLE) results, if applicable.
All of the information collected during the selection process, including behaviour and communication, from the time of application until the end of the process, may be used to evaluate candidates.
Foreign Education Credentials: Candidates with foreign education credentials are required to provide proof of Canadian equivalency. If you have been educated outside of Canada, it is your responsibility to have your certificates and/or diplomas assessed against Canadian educational standards. Candidates must be prepared to submit electronic proof of a Canadian equivalent education at the time of application. - The intent of this collective selection process is to appoint candidates who are successful in the pool when vacancies arise within various work units throughout Infrastructure Canada.
- Additionally, a pool of qualified candidates will be established to potentially staff similar positions with various: tenures, language requirements, bilingual linguistic profiles and/or security requirements, within all federal organizations listed in Schedules I, IV and V.
- Once Infrastructure Canada has concluded their initial appointments, the pool may be shared with other government departments.
- Indeterminate employees at the same group and level, or equivalent, may be considered first for deployment.

EDUCATION:
ED1: Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics.
Notes:
1. Candidates must always have a degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
2. An indeterminate incumbent of a former ES position on June 30, 1967 who became an EC on June 22, 2009, who does not possess the minimum level of education as indicated for Part A above is deemed to meet this minimum educational standard based on his/her education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE:
