As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will be responsible for the delivery of human resources (HR) operations assistance. Please find below examples of key duties:
• Provides administrative support services in staffing or classification
• Works in close collaboration with Human Resources Advisor
• Processes various HR requests while maintaining an excellent client service
• Performs data entry and/or data validation related to staffing and/or classification using PeopleSoft (HR Management System)
While traditionally located in one of the 3 locations with AAFC HR regional offices (Ottawa, Moncton or Winnipeg), the HR team has embraced remote work and all team members are currently working remotely full time. Following a return to the workplace, it is likely the option of teleworking will continue for the team. Candidates from these 3 regions are encouraged to apply for this opportunity.
This process aims to fill an immediate need as a Human Resources Coordinator.
This pool may be used to fill vacancies in various disciplines (i.e.: Classification, Staffing) within the Human Resources Branch at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.

Experience providing administrative services.
Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Word and of Microsoft Office Excel.
Education (Asset):
Graduation from a recognized post-secondary institution
Experience (Asset):
Experience providing human resources support services.
Experience working in HR staffing unit in the federal public service.
Experience working in HR classification unit in the federal public service.
Experience in using Human Resource Management Systems (i.e. MyGCHR, PeopleSoft, HRIS or other HR Data Management system) and/or Phoenix Pay System beyond the self-service function.
