Public Safety Canada is looking for talented, motivated and strategic minded individuals to work in a variety of corporate services, security, accommodations, corporate governance, and business continuity management positions. As part of the Public Safety Corporate Services Directorate (CSD), you would have opportunities to gain experience in the design and implementation of a variety of corporate programs, contribute to complex departmental initiatives, and support the department through a range of transformative initiatives, business functions and operations.

This process aims to fill four positions. However, a pool of qualified candidates may be established through this process to fill identical or similar positions. The security requirements, linguistic requirements, conditions of employment and duration could vary in accordance with the filled position.

Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

E1: Experience in providing administrative support services*.

E2: Experience researching, collecting, analyzing information from various sources.

E3:Experience in the review, coordination and tracking of deliverables in a project or program delivery based environment.

*Administrative support services is defined as, but not limited to: responding to client enquiries, drafting documentation, coordinating logistics, entering data into information management systems, taking minutes or other services deemed acceptable by the hiring manager.

* Governance Committees are decision-making tables on key departmental planning, priorities and operations comprised of managers.

On October 6, 2021, the Government of Canada announced details of its plans to require vaccination across the federal public service.

As per the new Policy on COVID-19 Vaccination for the Core Public Administration Including the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, federal public servants in the Core Public Administration and members of the RCMP must attest to their vaccination status. The requirement for employees to be fully vaccinated applies whether they are teleworking, working remotely or working on-site. This is a condition of employment and it applies to indeterminate (permanent), determinate (term), casual, and student hiring.
