Duties

The member is responsible for:
a) conducting name searches on CPIC from criminal and civil fingerprints and other sources to identify possible criminal records; and
b) prioritizing incoming fingerprints into urgent or nonurgent and forwarding them to the appropriate location.

Work environment

These positions are located at 1200 Vanier Parkway, Ottawa, Ontario

They are subject to 12 hour rotating shifts on a 4 days on and 4 days off work schedule (Days, evenings, weekends and Statutory Holidays) Operating schedule is between 6:00 am and 12:00 am (midnight) 7 days a week.

Intent of the process

This is an RCMP Civilian Member process. The selected qualified candidates will be hired as RCMP Civilian Members under the RCMP Act.

There is an immediate need to staff 2 positions at the FLI-FIT-01 group and level on an indeterminate basis, with a linguistic profile of Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB and an RCMP Enhanced Reliability security clearance.

A pool of candidates may be established to staff other vacancies within this group and level within the RCMP in the National Capital Region on an indeterminate basis, with bilingual imperative BBB/BBB linguistic profiles and RCMP Enhanced Reliability security clearances.
