In accordance with paragraph 8(2)(a) of the Privacy Act, information or material, whether provided directly by the candidate or otherwise obtained by the selection board, used during the selection process for the purpose of assessing a candidate may be used as part of the selection review and recourse processes. Such relevant information may be provided to third parties, such as other candidates or their representatives, who have a legitimate reason to be aware of that information.
A random or top down selection of candidates may be used in the determination of those to be given further consideration in the assessment process.
A pool of candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions in Ottawa or Gatineau within National Defence.

Candidates from outside the federal public service will be required to pay for their own travel (including travel for assessment purposes), and may be required to pay for their own relocation expenses.

EDUCATION:
• Successful completion of two years of secondary school or employer-approved alternatives (see Note).
Note:
The employer-approved alternatives to two years of secondary school are:
A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to two years of secondary school; or
An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE:
• Experience in providing clerical services.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Experience in computer data entry or database maintenance.
• Experience using various software programs, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
ASSET EXPERIENCE:
• Experience working in a mixed military/civilian environment.
• Experience providing client service using a web based applications such as Assyst, Magic Ticket, or Service Desk Express.
• Experience using the Defence Resource Management Information System (DRMIS).
• Experience in using a forklift.
