Budget 2021 announced almost $48M over three years to support targeted research and development for upstream critical minerals processing and battery precursors and related materials engineering. Education
• Completion of post-secondary education with a specialization in mineral processing, chemistry, chemical engineering or materials science; or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience
• A minimum of three months experience in laboratory work in inorganic chemistry or mineral processing
• A minimum of three months experience in preparing samples and equipment for analytical, experimental or investigative studies in the natural, physical, or applied sciences
• A minimum of three months laboratory experience working with chemicals
• A minimum of three months experience in collecting, compiling and analyzing data from experiments in accordance with established procedures, standards, and specifications
English or French

• Knowledge of collection, preservation and analysis of various metallurgical samples
