The intent of this process is to staff 2 two-year term positions in Shilo, Manitoba. A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions, with varying tenures in various locations.

Possession of a Manitoba Class 2 Water Distribution Certification
Possession of a Manitoba Class 2 Waste Water Collection Certification

Possession of Manitoba 4th Class Power Engineering Certification
Possession of a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification
Possession of a certification in First Aid, CPR, WHMIS, Confined Space Entry
EXPERIENCE
Experience operating and maintaining water distribution systems
Experience operating and maintaining waste water collection systems
Experience in the handling of Chemicals and HAZMAT Clean ups
In support of Strong, Secure, Engaged (SSE) initiative #24, consideration may be given to the spouses or common-law partners of Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members.
Operational Requirements
Ability to obtain and maintain a Class 1 Wastewater Treatment licence, Class 2 Water Distribution Certification and Class 2 Waste Water Collection Certification within three years of appointment.
Willing and able to work overtime, as required.
Willing and able to work on standby, as required
Possess and maintain a valid Province of Manitoba Class “5” Driver’s license. Able to obtain and maintain a valid DND 404 driver's license.
Conditions of Employment
Ability to obtain and maintain a Class 1 Wastewater Treatment licence, Class 2 Water Distribution Certification and Class 2 Waste Water Collection Certification within three years of appointment.
Possess and maintain a valid Province of Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s license.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid DND 404 driver's license.
