As a project engineer, you will be called upon to manage construction projects in marine engineering, civil engineering and building engineering.
The project management is a young, growing team. Selected individuals will have the opportunity to increase their experience and expertise.

EDUCATION :
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in engineering in a specialty related to the field of construction or some other engineering specialty relevant to the duties of the position.
* The term “degree” refers to a baccalaureate as established by educational authorities.
EXPERIENCE :
Significant experience* in managing construction projects in Canada.
* Significant experience means at least five (5) years of experience in the last ten (10) years.
Experience in writing and commenting technical documents related to the field of construction.

KNOWLEDGE :
Knowledge of the national building code and of the other codes and norms applicable to construction projects in Canada.
ABILITIES :

EDUCATION:
Bachelor degree in engineering with a specialty in building mechanics.
Bachelor degree in engineering with a specialty in marine engineering.
Bachelor degree in civil engineering or engineering construction.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience in producing plans and specs.
Experience in construction site supervision.
Experience in construction contract management.
Experience in tendering processes for construction projects.
Experience in calculating estimates for construction projects.
Experience in “green” projects (sustainable development, GHG reduction, water consumption reduction, renewable energy).
