As a Support Analyst: Programmer - Architect you will be responsible for providing technical support in systems development and testing services in support of Western Economic Diversification Canada (WD) program delivery. Intent of the process

A pool of qualified candidates (fully assessed or partially assessed) will be established and may be used to staff similar positions at this group and level. This process may be used for various positions and tenures (including but not limited to term and indeterminate appointments, internal assignments, secondments, deployments, acting appointments, casual) as well as various locations, security requirements, language requirements and conditions of employment. The pool of qualified candidate may also be shared and accessed with other federal government departments.

Essential Qualifications:
• Successful completion of an acceptable two-year, post-secondary education program in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.

NOTE: Indeterminate incumbents of CS positions on May 10, 1999, who do not possess the education described above, are deemed to meet the minimum education standards based on their education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Experience:
• Significant*experience developing, testing and maintaining Microsoft ASP.Net and/or Dynamics CRM 365 (D365) .
• Significant* experience Accessing / programming Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle databases. *
• Experience developing, delivering and/or supporting IM/IT solutions using defined methodologies and best practices.
• Experience analyzing business/client requirements; providing advice, options and/or recommendations in the definition, development and/or implementation of IM/IT solutions.
• Experience Providing support to IM/IT activities/projects for multiple clients, prioritizing workload and/or meeting deadlines in a multi-tasking environment.


* Significant is defined as the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with the performance of the duties for a period of two (2) years.

Knowledge
• Knowledge of Microsoft ASP. NET and/or Microsoft CRM D365
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle Application Server.
• Knowledge of computer systems programming techniques, methods and practices.

Asset Experience:
• Experience programming in one or more of the following: .Net, ASP, ASP.Net, SQL, JavaScript, VB.Net, C#, VB, VBA, VB Script, CSS, HTML, or XML.
• Significant*experience developing, testing and maintaining Dynamics 365 (D365).
• Experience developing, testing and maintaining Microsoft Power Apps / Power Automate.
• Experience with SharePoint.
• Experience with PowerBI
• Experience with Telerik controls
• Experience with DevOps
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Experience with Crystal Reports

Knowledge
• Knowledge of Microsoft D365
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps/Power Automate
