Intent of the process

This process may be used to establish a pool of candidates that may be used to staff similar positions at an identical or equivalent group and level with same official language proficiencies (Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB), various security profiles (Reliability Status, Secret), various tenures (Indeterminate, Temporary) using various staffing mechanisms (Indeterminate appointment, Term appointment, Acting appointment, Deployment, Secondment, Assignment) at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

Preference

Preference will be given to veterans first and then to Canadian citizens and permanent residents, with the exception of a job located in Nunavut, where Nunavut Inuit will be appointed first.
