Intent of the process

A pool of qualified candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions, with various tenures depending on organizational needs, within Indigenous Services Canada in Edmonton or Tsuut’ina.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION:
Successful completion of two years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program in lands, economics, law, business administration, commerce, public administration or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed OR an acceptable combination of education, training and experience defined as successful completion of course work in a relevant field supplemented by relevant training and experience. (You must provide a listing that outlines how you meet this requirement.)

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
Experience in providing advice and recommendations to stakeholders on program issues.

Experience in researching and analysing information.

Experience in developing options and recommendations.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Successful completion of a post-secondary degree in one of the following areas: land use planning, real property management, environmental management, natural resource management, physical geography, project management, public administration, law, business administration, or other specialization related to the position.

Degree equivalency

Experience negotiating in relation to projects or initiatives to achieve shared objectives

Experience interpreting and applying legislation, regulations or policy

Experience in the administration, negotiation, monitoring and compliance of real property dispositions

Experience managing First Nation reserve lands
