Context:
The production centre is responsible for printing, inserting and distributing checks on behalf of the Receiver General for Canada. Our checks are delivered all over the world. Our clients are both internal to the federal government and external at the national and provincial levels. Our work environment compares to a factory with noise, dust, handling of paper. Work is under pressure and deadlines are sometimes tight. The job is to operate the printers and inserters. Training is given on site.
Preference will be given to veterans and to Canadian citizens, in that order, with the exception of a job located in Nunavut, where Nunavut Inuit will be appointed first.
