Norway House Hospital serves the immediate area of Norway House, a community, 288 air miles north of Winnipeg, with a population of approximately 6,000 residents, including residents of the Norway House Cree Nation (NHCN) and the affiliated Norway House Northern Community. The location is picturesque, on a peninsula at the headwaters of the Nelson River, on the edge of the Canadian Shield. Access by air or road connections through the provincial highway system.
Candidates are advised that there is limited housing in this location.
By joining our team, you will have opportunity to provide direct support to health services and community based programming. You will build and support strong working relationships with First Nations and Inuit communities, families, and individuals, with a focus on improving health outcomes and reducing health risks.

EDUCATION :
• Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in nursing.

OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION :
• Current registration as a registered nurse in the province of employment and a member in good standing in that province.
EXPERIENCE :
• Experience in provision of nursing care.
