Intent of the process

Immediate need: 1 full-time temporary position (from June 30, 2021 to June 28, 2024).

Bachelor of science from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in biology, biochemistry or a related discipline.

Degree equivalency

Experience providing technical support in a research laboratory environment.
Experience conducting laboratory experiments in molecular biology or biochemistry.
Experience collecting and performing analysis on samples.

Graduate degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in a biological science related discipline.

Experience working with cereal crops.
Experience in plant physiology.
Experience in protein expression and purification.
Experience carrying out experiments to study gene expression.

Reliability Status security clearance

Ability and willingness to work with hazardous chemicals using appropriate safety equipment after receiving suitable training.
