EDUCATION:
A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or
experience.

Degree equivalency

Cleaner
EXPERIENCE:
Experience (minimum two years) in providing cleaning services in an industrial or commercial setting

Caretaker
Experience (2 years) inspecting facilities
Experience (2 years) maintaining facilities
Experience (2 years) overseeing work orders

ABILITIES:
Cleaner
Ability to communicate effectively orally
Ability to communicate effectively in writing
Ability to use a computer and email services (MS Outlook)

Caretaker
Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines

ASSET EDUCATION:
Completion of infection control training
Completion of WHMIS training

Cleaner
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work overtime
Must be able to regularly lift up to 20kg
Must be able to work around chlorine, peroxide, or alcohol based cleaners/disinfectant
Must be willing to complete stock taking and complete order requests

Caretaker
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work overtime/call-back
Must be able to regularly lift up to 25kg
Must be able to carry a DND issued mobile device

Both:
Willing and able to take training as required
Must be willing to wear and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
