The Small Craft Harbours program in Department of Fisheries and Oceans is considering an opportunity for three full-time term positions. These positions are for two years, with the possibility of extension.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION:
• Completion of a two (2) year diploma course in construction management, civil technology or related building technology from a recognized technical institute, or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
• Experience providing technical support for construction and/or infrastructure management in one of the following areas: timber construction, earth works, foundation and concrete, deep foundation including piles, marine infrastructure, public infrastructure, and project management.
• Experience in the use of computer software for engineering design, drawing, and report preparation.
• Experience drafting business correspondence such as emails and bulletins to external clients, as well as presenting on technical topics for internal clients.

EXPERIENCE:
• Experience in managing projects and applying project management principles and best practices.
