The immediate need is to staff one position on an indeterminate basis, with a linguistic profile of English Essential and an RCMP Top Secret security clearance.
A pool of candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions within the RCMP in the National Capital Region on an indeterminate or specified period (including term, acting, or assignment) basis, with various linguistic profiles, including bilingual positions, and various RCMP security clearances.

EDUCATION:
A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives.
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) college diploma or graduate certificate or employer-approved alternatives.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience providing geo-technical advice to clients, partners, or professional staff.
Recent* experience in the production of both hardcopy and digital geomatics products.
Recent* experience with ESRI software for mapping and analyzing georeferenced data (such ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online)
*The term “recent” experience is defined as activities normally within the last 4 years.
ASSET EXPEIRENCE:
GIS experience working within a government department and/or agency.
Experience with ArcGIS Web AppBuilder.
Experience performing geoprocessing and manipulation of geospatial datasets using programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or SQL.
Experience with integrating ESRI products/services into third party applications.

KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of methods used to manage the lifecycle of geospatial and non-geospatial datasets.
Knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise systems, including ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Online
Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript, or SQL
Knowledge of methods of implementing GIS quality assurance/control programs or procedures.
