Possession of a secondary school diploma or
acceptable combination of education, training
and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
Experience in the maintenance of roadways, runways
and ground works including grass cutting and snow
and ice control (SNIC).

Experience in using Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook.

Must be willing and able to travel as required by the employer.

Knowledge of machinery and equipment relevant to grounds maintenance and SNIC operations including tractors, trucks, forklifts, mini excavators, backhoes and pneumatic and gas powered tools.

Conditions of Employment
Must possess and maintain a valid, non-graduated, and unrestricted provincial or territorial Class 5 driver's license.
Eligibility and willingness to obtain and maintain a Departmental driver’s license (DND 404).
Must be willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Must be willing and able to lift objects up to 20 kilograms from floor level to shoulder height.
Must be willing and able to enter confined/tight spaces, work at heights and work in all types of weather conditions.
Must be willing and able to work overtime as required by the employer.
Must be willing and able to participate in a Standby rotation.
