OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION:
Some positions may require:
- Valid pesticide license.
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
OPTIONAL EXPERIENCES:
Assisting tradespersons.
Loading/unloading or moving work materials.
Using a variety of hand tools, power tools or equipment.
Performing grounds maintenance services such as grass cutting, raking, trimming trees, snow shoveling.
Working with tractors or skid steers.
Working with asphalt or concrete repairs.
Working in a greenhouse or landscaping.
Working with chain link fence/gate installation/repairs.
Integrated pest management.
Road maintenance (culvert/bridge replacement, ditching, road repair, etc).
Working in-stream and in wetlands.
Fish rescue operations.
Soil stabilization using construction best practices when resolving sedimentation/erosion issues.
Using survey equipment to record grades.
Building cofferdams and installing water control measures for the purpose of working in-the-dry.
Quarry operations including large vehicle weigh scales.
The operation of aggregate screening equipment.
Rigging loads for transport, lifting or hauling.

Some positions may require:
- Possession of an unrestricted and valid driver’s license issued by a Canadian province or territory.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DND 404 Driver/Operator Permit.
- Must be willing to wear and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with safety
standards and regulations.
- Must be able to lift 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Willing and able to work overtime.
- Willing and able to work shifts.
- Willing and able to be on standby.
- Willing and able to work in extreme weather conditions.
