In many selection processes the first step is screening. It's during the screening phase that the Assessment Board will decide whether your application will be considered further or will be rejected.

The intent of this process is to fill one temporary AS-04 position in London, Ontario. A pool of qualified candidates (fully or partially assessed) may be created to fill same or similar positions of various tenures and locations.

Your résumé.
A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Recent* experience in real property management.
* “Recent” experience is defined as being gained within the last 3 years
Experience in budget planning.
Experience in managing or administering construction and/or renovation projects.
Possession of or working towards the Building Owners and Management Association (BOMA) Real Property Administrator (RPA) or Facility Manager Administrator (FMA) designation.
Experience using Auto-CAD software.
Willingness to travel by land and air transport.
Possession of a valid Driver's License.

Proof of your Canadian Citizenship will be requested and must be provided during the selection process. The original of one of the following documents must be provided for verification:
-Provincial or territorial birth certificate
-Naturalization certificates (issued prior to Jan. 1, 1947)
-Registration of Birth Abroad certificates (issued between Jan. 1, 1947 and Feb. 14, 1977)
-Certificates of Retention
-Citizenship certificates
-Valid Canadian passport
Candidates from outside the federal public service will be required to pay for their own travel expenses.
Successful candidates will require a valid RCMP security clearance prior to appointment and throughout the tenure of their employment. The process to obtain an RCMP security clearance may involve but is not limited to a security/reliability interview and a field investigation which includes matters of criminal activity, verification of credit/financial status, reference checks, education, employment, etc. As such, the process may take several weeks or months to complete.
Reference checks may be sought.
An interview may be administered.
A test may be administered.
A situational exercise may be administered.
An assignment, secondment, or acting appointment requires approval of your supervisor.
Indeterminate employees at the same group and level or equivalent will be considered for deployment. If no deployment is made, applicants from other groups and levels will be considered in the advertised appointment process.
Persons are entitled to participate in the appointment process in the official language(s) of their choice.
A random and/or top down selection of candidates may be used in the determination of those to be given further consideration in the assessment process.
Preference will be given to veterans and to Canadian citizens, in that order, with the exception of a job located in Nunavut, where Nunavut Inuit will be appointed first.
