As a Supervisor (2-4 employees), you will coordinate the delivery of financial management, human resources and general administrative services for a Division.
You will also play a leading role in financial forecasting, monitoring, reviewing and reporting of operational expenditures, including: reconciling and maintaining operating and salary budgets for a Division, as well as, performing initial analysis and challenge function of program submissions.
A pool of qualified candidates will be established and will be used to staff anticipatory AS-02 opportunities with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans located in the Maritimes Region.
Virtual working arrangements from various locations across Canada may also be considered when feasible.

► Post-secondary education with a specialization in business or in a field related to the position.
► Experience leading a team.
► Experience in financial administration, including all aspects relating to budget planning, commitments, monitoring, reconciliation, forecasting and reporting for multiple Responsibility Centres (Managers).
► Experience in analyzing financial information for the purpose of customizing and developing financial reports.
► Experience in consolidating, customizing, and formatting financial reports for multiple responsibility centers (Managers) and multiple purposes.
► Experience in the interpretation of relevant policies, procedures and regulations for financial matters.
► Experience in the use of financial information systems to support management needs.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
► Experience in applying MS Excel features, including pivot table, to analyse, summarize, extract, manipulate, consolidate, sort and query large amount of raw data to produce financial reports
► Experience in developing and implementing workflows and procedures for others to use and/or refer to
► Experience in the use of SAP (System Analysis Program) financial system
