The intent of this process is to staff 2 positions and anticipatorily more with various linguistic requirements. A pool of candidates may be established to staff similar positions with various tenures and/or linguistic requirements within Global Affairs Canada.

EDUCATION:

A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:

GT-03 AND GT-04:
• Experience* in Audio/Visual, multimedia and virtual events in a conference setting.
• Experience in installing, operating and troubleshooting Simultaneous Interpretation Systems, microphone discussion systems, digital Audio consoles, video cameras, video conferencing, and multiple displays.
• Experience in interpreting technical equipment documentation.

GT-04 ONLY:
• Experience in installing, operating and troubleshooting multimedia equipment in boardrooms.
• Experience* in video and audio editing (preferably with Avid Media Composer).

* For the GT-04 level, "experience" means the performance of activities over a period of at least 5 years.
