The position(s) are within the Corporate Management Systems (CMS) branch, where selected applicants will benefit from learning and professional development activities while working alongside subject matter experts and professionals who deliver innovative SAP systems solutions and services in support of RCMP’s business lines. An exciting array of SAP systems projects are planned for our team over the coming years, including system upgrades, major functional enhancements, and systems hosting services. Selected applicants will have the opportunity to represent the RCMP on cross-functional, multi-faceted and interdepartmental working groups and committees.
The positions are located in Ottawa. As a result of the global pandemic, Corporate Management Systems employees are currently working from home. Should the current telework environment no longer apply, the successful candidate could be required to report and work onsite from the Ottawa office.
This process is anticipatory and a pool of candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions within the RCMP in the National Capital Region on an indeterminate or specified period with various linguistic profiles and various RCMP security clearances.

Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM.

Your résumé.
► A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce or economics AND experience related to positions in the Financial Management Group; or
Eligibility for a recognized professional accounting designation. The recognized professional accounting designations are Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified General Accountant (CGA).
► Experience performing analysis and interpretation of financial policies and procedures
► Experience* providing development and support services for an Enterprise Resource Planning system (SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle Financials, etc.), in at least four (4) of the activities below:
o Gathering business requirements
o Conducting system analysis
o Preparing system specifications documentation
o Performing system configuration or programming
o Designing, documenting or monitoring business processes
o Planning and communicating change management activities
o Assisting, training and gathering feedback from system user groups
o Performing the planning, execution, and evaluation of system tests.
* For this experience, a minimum of two (2) years continuous experience acquired within the last ten (10) years is required.

► In depth experience** implementing and supporting any of the following modules in an SAP system.

► Experience leading or supervising various groups in a business setting. Candidate should have a minimum of one (1) year experience in at least one (1) of the activities.
o Leading a project team from initiation through to execution and close-out stages of the project
o Supervising staff and fostering an environment to support and monitor their professional development
► Experience building and delivering solutions to business problems for the usage of others, using various business software products.
► Successful completion of one (1) or more SAP certification exam(s). Candidate must list each SAP certification exam as well as their successful completion date for the exam.
** In depth experience is defined as a minimum of one (1) year of continuous experience within the past five (5) years.
