The intent of this process is to staff one (1) indeterminate position in Edmonton, Alberta.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff future indeterminate and /or temporary vacancies in Edmonton, AB within the RCMP. In the event of a temporary vacancy, the following staffing actions may be used and /or considered: acting appointment, term appointment, assignment or secondment.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM. Information regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Successful completion of two years of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
Recent*experience working with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
Recent* experience in providing at least three (3) of the following records management services: indexing, cross-referencing, filing, retrieving, retaining, archiving and/or destroying data.
*Recent experience is defined as experience normally acquired within the past three (3) years.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing
ASSET QUALIFICATION
Experience working in entering, tracking, extracting, and manipulating data into a database management system.
*Note: Excel is not considered a database management system.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENT
Willingness and ability to travel for work and/or training purposes, using various modes of transportation.
RCMP Enhanced Reliability Status security clearance.
Those selected must meet and maintain the above condition of employment throughout their employment.
