The immediate need is to staff one position on an indeterminate basis, with a linguistic profile of Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB and an RCMP Top Secret security clearance.
A pool of candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions within the RCMP on an indeterminate or specified period (including term, acting, or assignment) basis, with various linguistic profiles and various RCMP security clearances.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM.

Education:
EDU1. Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in human resources management, labour or industrial relations, psychology, public or business administration, organizational development, education sciences, social sciences, sociology, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Note: The course(s) for the specialization must be acceptable and must have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization.
EDU2.One hundred and sixty (160) hours of training in conflict management, applicable to a workplace setting, which must include forty (40) hours of mediation skills training.
EDU3. Forty (40) hours of group intervention training applicable to a workplace setting.

Experience
EX1. Recent and significant* experience in providing workplace informal conflict management services (such as conflict analysis, consultations, conflict coaching, facilitated discussions, mediation, and group interventions).
EX2. Experience in delivering training relevant to conflict management.
EX3. Recent and significant* experience in providing advice to management on matters related to effective workplace conflict prevention or management.
*Recent and significant experience is understood to mean the depth and breadth of the experience normally associated with having performed a broad range of various and complex Informal Conflict Management services for approximately two (2) years in the last four (4) years.
