Assessment accommodation

This position is located in Ottawa. As a result of the global pandemic, OSFI employees are currently working from home. Should the current telework environment no longer apply, the successful candidate will be required to report to and work onsite from the Ottawa office.

Intent of the process

The immediate need is to staff one position with a language requirement of English essential for a specified period of approximately 6 months.

This selection process may be used to establish a pool of qualified candidates, which could be used to staff similar or identical positions with various linguistic profiles and requirements, security profiles and various tenures.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
- Successful completion of an acceptable post-secondary educational program in an area related to information management (library, record, or archival studies) OR a combination of education, information management training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
- Recent* experience in the Information Management field specifically in records management of electronic records.
- Recent* experience in records management including subject analysis, file creation, information classification and safeguarding electronic records.
- Recent* experience in retention and disposition practices for electronic records in the Azure cloud.
- Recent* experience Configuring Sensitivity and Retention labels, creating auto-apply policies and disposition practices in the Azure cloud.
- Recent* experience working with an Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS).

*Recent is defined as relevant experience gained within the last 3 years.

ASSET EXPERIENCE
- Experience providing records management services in a federal government environment.

As a Separate Agency, the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) appoints employees in accordance with the Public Service Employment Act (PSEA). OSFI is named in Schedule V of the Financial Administration Act (FAA) and it offers the same pension and benefits plans as the core Federal Public Service. In addition to this, OSFI employees obtain a minimum of 4 weeks of vacation leave per year, earn a competitive salary, and are eligible for an annual performance bonus.
