The intent of this process is to staff a permanent position in Dorval.

However, a pool of essentially or partially qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similaror equivalent positions of various durations (indeterminate, term,deployment, acting, assignment) and of various language requirements inTransport Canada.

EDUCATION
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics.

Note: Candidates must have a degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCES
• Significant* experience in the development of documents such as briefing notes, reports, presentations and dashboard summarizing the performance of an organization formed with a multitude of departments or disciplines, for higher management (EX-01 and more).
• Recent ** experience in at least one of the following specialties: risk and/or trend analysis, strategic planning or performance measurement.
• Experience in using computer applications (Excel, Word and Power Point).
• Significant experience* in using applications to collect and to analyze digital data, in order to assess and communicate on complex*** issues or initiatives.

*Significant refers to an experience of processing and a demonstrated level of complete autonomy that is associated with performing the position tasks for about two (2) years in the last six (6) years.

**Recent refers to an experience acquired in the five (5) past years.

***Complex involves at least one of the two (2) following relevant criteria:
- Sensitive or possibly high profile;
- Multiple stakeholders.

• Experience supervising employees or teams.
• Experience within the aviation industry.
• Experience of direct interactions with pilots or aviation technicians.

KNOWLEDGE

• Knowledge of risk assessment/risk management processes.
