The location of the position is in Sainte-Foy near University Laval.

This process will be used to fill one position on an permanent basis.
A pool of (fully or partially) qualified candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions at Natural Resources Canada (with various tenures (determinate period or indeterminate), various linguistic requirements, various security requirements, various conditions of employment and for various locations.

Training in dangerous goods, transportation and storage.
Manual abilities in different fields such as mechanics and construction.
Basic automotive maintenance.
A candidate may be appointed to the position even though they do not meet any or all of the asset qualifications. However, meeting these criteria is desirable and may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed.

Information on language requirements
Experience in procurement, receiving, issuing, verification, tracking and disposal of assets.
Experience processing incoming and outgoing mail, including courier services.
Experience in inventories (such as fleet, assets, different kind of phones).
Experience in coordinating activities related to vehicle fleet (such as recalls, preventive maintenance, etc.).
Experience using basic email functions such as: sending and receiving emails, attachments and filing
Knowledge of procedures and regulations related to asset management.
Knowledge of procedures relating to the reception, storage, packing and shipping of merchandise.

Possess a valid Class 3 driver’s licence.
Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the Transportation of Dangerous Goods certificate (TDG) in ground and air.
Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the certification of WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System).
Must be able to lift/carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Must be willing and able to get to work in difficult weather conditions.
