IOGC is an organization committed to managing and regulating oil and gas resources on First Nation reserve lands. It is a non-unionized special operating agency within Indigenous Services Canada. IOGC is responsible for the administration of oil and gas resources on First Nation reserve lands across Canada, primarily south of the 60th parallel. Most of IOGC's work is in Western Canada in the area of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin.
This is a full-time one year term position. A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar term and/or indeterminate positions.

EDUCATION:
1. Successful completion of a post-secondary program in finance, accounting or a relevant related field, OR an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
EXPERIENCE
1. Experience in the use and interpretation of financial authorities (e.g. Acts, Regulations, Directives, etc.).
2. Experience in the provision of financial services and in the operations of a financial information system.
3. Experience in account processing and verification in an automated environment.
4. Experience in the input of accounting entries.

2. Experience in the use of Systems, Applications & Products (SAP).
