The Canadian Forces Health Services (CFHS) is the designated health care provider for Canada's military personnel, delivering medical and dental services at military installations across Canada and overseas. Our mission is to deliver quality care and promote health protection to Canadian Forces personnel. There is an immediate need to staff (1) indeterminate position in Borden, Ontario. A pool of qualified candidates may be established to staff similar positions with various tenures (indeterminate, specified period, acting, casual, secondment or assignment).

EDUCATION:
Graduation with a degree from a recognized school of dentistry
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION:
Eligibility for a license recognized by the Canadian Dental Association to practice dentistry in a province or territory of Canada.
EXPERIENCE:
Recent* and significant** experience in performing dental services
NOTE:
*Recent experience is defined as experience normally associated with performing the relevant duties within the last 2 years.
** Significant experience is defined as having gained at least 2 years of experience.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
AEX1: Experience working within a military environment.
AEX2: Experience using the Canadian Forces Health Information System (CFHIS).
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)

Reliability Status security clearance
-- Possession of a valid diploma in dental medicine (DDS or DMD) from an accredited Canadian program. Must be an active member with their Provincial Dental Regulator or obtain registration within the Province of employment.
-- CPR and First Aid certification must be current
-- The candidate must not be the subject of any practice restriction and have a clean malpractice file in all Provincial jurisdictions.
