Intent of the process

Although the immediate intent of this Job Opportunity Advertisement is to staff permanent full-time, applicants should be aware that a pool of qualified candidates (fully assessed or partially assessed) may be established and may be used to staff similar positions at this group and level with various language requirements listed in the Language Requirements section. In addition, this process may be used for various tenures (acting appointments, assignment, deployment, indeterminate, specified period, secondment), security requirements and conditions of employment within the Correctional Service of Canada. EDUCATION
ED1: Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE

EX1: Experience in researching and analyzing information from various sources.
EX 2: Experience in developing policies, guidelines or procedures for corporate implementation.
EX3: Significant* experience in writing comprehensive analyses, briefings and reports to management.
EX4: Experience in conducting functional reviews or quality assurance of a program.
EX5: Experience in the use of various software such as: programs included in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio or equivalent software(s).

Note: *Significant is defined as at least two years of experience

AED1: Enrolment in the Certification Program for the Federal Government Procurement and Materiel Management Community.

Degree equivalency

ASSET QUALIFICATION

EXPERIENCE
AEX1: Experience in federal government editing and writing standards.
AEX2 Experience in resolving contracting or materiel management issues by providing advice and recommendations to clients.
AEX3 Experience managing assets using a life cycle approach.
AEX4: Experience developing and/or delivering training to clients.
AEX5 Experience using an Integrated Financial and Materiel Management System (such as SAP, Oracle).

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Willing and able to work overtime as and when required and, sometimes on short notice;
