The Parole Board of Canada (PBC) contributes to public safety with its core responsibility for the controlled, timed and gradual release of offenders back into society. The skills and talents of our staff are central to this work. The immediate need is to staff one position on a temporary basis for a period of one year with possibility of extension. A pool of candidates may be created to staff similar CR-04 positions with various employment tenures (indeterminate, deployment, specified period appointment, acting, assignment or secondment) within the Parole Board of Canada’s Pacific Region.

EDUCATION:
- Successful completion of two years of secondary school or employer-approved alternatives.
Note: The employer-approved alternatives to two years of secondary school are:
• A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to two years of secondary school; or
• An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in providing administrative support services related to the following:
• Maintaining electronic files;
• Client service; and
• Processing incoming/outgoing mail
- Experience using Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook)

- Experience organizing and/or facilitating meetings with online video platforms such as Webex, Teams or Zoom
