Intent of the process

This process will be used to establish a pool of candidates that may be used to staff similar positions at an identical or equivalent group and level with same official language proficiencies (Bilingual Imperative BBBB/BBB), various security profiles (Reliability Status, Secret), various tenures (Indeterminate, Temporary) using various staffing mechanisms (Indeterminate appointment, Term appointment, Acting appointment, Deployment, Secondment, Assignment) at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

EDUCATION
Ed1. Successful completion of two years of post-secondary program with specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce or economics;
OR
hold the Government of Canada Financial Management Certificate

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
E1. Experience in researching, analyzing and reconciling financial information
E2. Experience in providing advice or recommendations on a variety of financial management topics to your supervisor or clients
E3. Experience in using Microsoft Office Suite including Excel

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
AE1. Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in government in a financial environment, among at least one (1) of the following:
(a) accounting transaction;
(b) ministerial accounting;
(c) financial planning, analysis and reporting;
(d) Financial Management Advisor;
((e) audit and internal control;
(f) financial system
AE2. Minimum of six (6) months experience in bank reconciliation in the private or public sector
AE3. Experience in using Global Case Management System (GCMS)
