The intent is to staff four (4) permanents positions in Ottawa, ON. A pool of partially qualified candidates may be established through this process to staff similar positions within the Department of Public Services and Procurement Canada across Canada with various tenures such as temporary or permanent. The pool can be used to staff positions with various linguistic requirements and various security requirements.

EDUCATION
Successful completion of an acceptable post-secondary educational program of at least 3 years in the field of interior design or architectural technology.
EXPERIENCES
Experience in participating in multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of interior design fit-up and accommodation projects.
Experience in assisting in front-end project planning, including activities and project stages such as needs analysis, functional programming, feasibility studies, and other interior design tasks.
Experience using the AutoCAD** software to produce drawings related to interior design such as construction drawings, schematics, plans and details drawings.
**AutoCAD experience is defined as having at least three (3) years of experience within the last 5 years.

Knowledge of the Interior Design industry in the specialty of office accommodation and fit-up projects.
Knowledge of general procedures related to the procurement of various goods and/or services for office accommodation and fit-up projects.

EXPERIENCE
Experience in providing Design Advisory services for consultant delivered projects.

Willingness to travel and work overtime.
Reliability Status security clearance
Willingness and ability to work in and around construction sites, including wearing protective equipment.
