7. The successful candidate will be required to provide original documentation of proof of Canadian Citizenship prior to appointment. Other candidates may also be asked to provide this documentation at various stages in the selection process. The following documents will be accepted as proof:

Provincial or territorial birth certificate;
Valid Canadian Passport;
Naturalization certificates (issued prior to Jan. 1, 1947);
Registration of Birth Abroad certificates (issued between Jan. 1, 1947 and Feb. 14, 1977);
Certificates of Retention;
Citizenship certificates.

8. The successful candidate will have to obtain an RCMP Top Secret security clearance. The process requires a Security/Reliability Interview, a field investigation in matters of Criminal Activities, credit/finances, education, employment, references, etc.

Intent of the process

Anticipatory Staffing - The intent of the process is to establish a pool of qualified candidates at the PO-IMA-02 group/level, only for temporary vacancies of six (6) months or less. When you apply to this selection process, you are not applying for a specific job, but to an inventory for future vacancies.

Casual employment is temporary employment of 90 working days or less in a calendar year, to meet needs for temporary vacancies arising from vacation, sick leave, training, special projects, etc.

Should a CM be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to another category for the member. Notification regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.

Experience working as an Intercept Monitor Analyst using the Central Communication Intercept System (CenCIS).
