Education
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with an acceptable specialization in commerce, economics, natural resources management, public administration, environmental studies, biology or other specialization relevant to the position;
OR
An acceptable combination of education, training and experience related to the duties of the position.
Experience
• Experience analyzing and synthesizing information to formulate and write reports, correspondence or communications materials (such as briefing notes, memorandums, technical reports, letters).
• Experience collaborating in a multidisciplinary and fast-paced environment.
• Experience developing and maintaining successful working relationships.
Experience:
• Experience with natural resource management.
• Experience interpreting and applying legislation or regulations
• Experience analysing and interpreting scientific information.
• Experience working with or negotiating with Indigenous groups.
• Experience administering or delivering grants and contributions programs.
• Experience with fisheries or aquaculture management.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Willingness and ability to work overtime on occasion, including weekends.
• Willingness and ability to travel. Travel may be to remote locations by various modes of transportation.
