Intent of the process

This process may be used to establish a pool of candidates that may be used to staff similar positions at an identical or equivalent group and level with various official language proficiencies, a top secret security profiles, various tenures and various staffing mechanisms at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

EDUCATION
ED1. Successful completion of a secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination* of education, training and/or experience.

*The acceptable combination is defined as three (3) years’ full-time experience in the security field.

EXPERIENCE
E1. Experience providing advice and recommendations related to security files or issues.
E2. Experience writing reports, assessments, letters or memos related to security.
E3. Experience in applying legislation or policies in administrative or criminal investigations.
E4. Experience working in partnership with investigators or employees of other departments or agencies.
E5. Experience conducting interviews in administrative or criminal investigations.

Degree equivalency
