Intent of the process

This process may be used to establish a pool of candidates that may be used to staff similar positions at an identical or equivalent group and level with various official language proficiencies, various security profiles, various tenures and various staffing mechanisms at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION
ED1. Successful completion of a secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination* of education, training and/or experience.

The acceptable combination is defined as two (2) years’ full-time experience in the security field.

EXPERIENCE
E1. Experience writing reports, assessments, letters or memos related to security.
E2. Experience providing advice and guidance on security issues in one or more of the following security areas: Physical security, emergency response, emergency preparedness, business continuity, fire safety, security in contracting, or personnel security screening.
E3. Experience in leading a team.
E4. Experience conducting site inspections pertaining to physical security requirements and drafting preparing reports.

Degree equivalency
