For this selection process, our intention is to communicate with applicants by e-mail for screening/assessment purposes (including issuing screening results, and sending invitations for written tests and interviews). Testing/interviews will be conducted at locations of the employer's choice and may require candidates to travel to the test/interview location, Charlottetown, PE.
Please note that candidates (including persons employed in the Public Service) will not be considered to be in travel status or on government business and travel costs will not be reimbursed. Consequently, candidates will be responsible for travel costs.
The immediate need is to staff two positions on an indeterminate basis.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established to staff temporary and/or permanent positions, (including term, acting appointments and deployments) and other similar positions.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM. Information regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.

Your résumé.
A covering letter in 3,000 words (maximum)
Successful completion of two years of secondary school education or employer approved alternatives.
-Experience providing administrative support.
-Experience using information management databases (includes but may not be limited to data entry and retrieval).
-Experience working with computer software, including Microsoft Word and Excel for the creation of documents and manipulation of data.
-Experience providing financial support, including inputting and extracting information from a financial database, such as SAP/TEAM, reconciling invoices etc.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
-Experience working with PROS (Police Occurrence Reporting System).
-Experience working with CPIC (Canadian Police Information Centre).
-Experience working with HRMIS (Human Management Information System).
-Experience transcribing.
